I have always produced art in one form or another.
Returning to painting after many years I have rediscovered the great pleasure involved in it, the way that working with the medium changes ones ideas of how it might turn out and how surprising the final result can be. I enjoy working with paint and with other mediums and I spend quite a bit of time drawing. I have many sketchbooks from my travels in the UK and abroad.
My current source material is the environment of the South Coast  of the UK and the Adur Estuary,between Worthing and Brighton the constant changing light and colours, the birds, the water and the muddy river banks. Every day the light and tha reflections are different and the wind creates new patterns on the surface of the river and the sea.
